The BULBUCAN Group brings together SC BULBUCAN LIL SRL and SC LIL-MEC SRL, two Romanian companies with more than 25 years of experience in machining. Over the years, we have developed expertise in CNC machining, precision components, complex part manufacturing and dimensional inspection.

One of our strengths is the combination of hands-on workshop experience with technical expertise and design. Our team includes design engineers experienced in gear design, as well as operators and specialists whose experience was built at the Cugir Mechanical Plant, where strong capabilities in mechanical manufacturing and demanding applications, including defence, have developed over time.

We approach each project from its technical documentation: we review materials, geometry, tolerances, finishes and inspection requirements, then select the right processes for the part and required volume. We focus on direct technical communication, consistent quality and long-term cooperation.

The company performs CNC turning and milling, machining of complex geometries, and work requiring close attention to tolerances, finishes and process stability. Each component is assessed according to material, dimensional requirements, functional characteristics and quantity to define a suitable process and efficient manufacturing flow.

Collaboration between engineers, programmers and production operators enables practical assessment of requirements from the quotation stage. We emphasize precision, repeatability and clear communication throughout each project, ensuring the proposed solution meets both drawing requirements and real manufacturing conditions.

SC LIL-MEC SRL builds on the Group’s more than 25 years of machining experience, with particular expertise in gears and transmission components. A key advantage is collaboration with design engineers specializing in gear design and development, who can assess geometric and functional requirements and help select the right manufacturing solution.

The company’s capabilities include precision machining, gear cutting and gear grinding, as well as complementary operations required for transmission components. Work starts from the engineering drawing and customer requirements, with attention to material, heat treatment, tolerances, tooth quality and the inspections required for assembly performance.

The team includes operators and specialists with experience gained at the Cugir Mechanical Plant, an industrial environment with a strong tradition and practical knowledge in mechanical manufacturing, including defence applications. This experience supports an understanding of strict requirements, manufacturing discipline and the importance of controlling critical characteristics.
